The best 80 bucks we’ve ever spent!

Banner-Bryce

The best buy of our entire journey has to be the (aptly named) America the Beautiful Pass. A mere US$80 gave us and our two motorcycles entry into every US National Park, as well as many Federal recreation areas, for a whole year. We managed to visit 14 of these gems in the three months we had available.

It was road trip heaven. We loved the big skies, grand vistas and geological wonderland that we discovered as we rode, hiked and camped our way through Western USA. There’s no way to do the unique beauty of each park justice in a blog, but we hope to whet your appetite with this collection of panoramas. We’ve also included some extra panoramas of non-national park lands that also left us awestruck.

These panoramas are also available in our online gallery here.

  1. Terrific shots. Great that you are still inspired after all the wonders of nature that you have already passed through. xx

  2. TOLD YERS!
Ha, you may remember my rambling on about how good the parks and wilderness areas of the Western USA is. Now you agree huh! One of my three favourite regions in the world. We are going there again next April, there are still canyons we have not hiked in.
Sure want to see you in Oz. Am going to dinner at Ros’ place tomorrow and will discuss you two as a subject. We have to work out how to get to the picnic.
See you and best regards from Rosie and Rex

    • It was your “rambling” Rex that convinced us to spend more time here and we weren’t disappointed. It was a great region for the end of our road trip. Can’t wait to talk to you about it soon!
