Our Odyssey Overland’s first movie, filmed and edited by Matt and Fiona, shows the initial six months of our motorcycle journey. It features our travels through Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
Most of the footage was taken by a camera mounted on Matt’s helmet. We sifted through over 2,700 video clips and about 45 hours of footage to produce this video.

We want to be there doing all this with you. Actually, I can feel the moto under me as I watch the video…..fantastic stuff. In all your chapters there is no mention of any handlebars touching the ground so I think you are riding very well. You must feel every nuance of those bikes by now. Can we have the next half of the video by next week please. You can make it a bit longer if you like!
Also…..love your tech abilities, I want to learn how to do some of the movie posting stuff.
It will be 2014 in a matter of hours so make sure you have another brilliant year and just cope with the culture shock once you cross into the USA.

Hi Rex and Rosie – We’re glad you enjoyed our video. Our second video will probably take less time to edit than the first, but given we haven’t started it yet, we’re going to miss your deadline. We definitely plan to have another good year on the road in 2014 with all of Central and North America ahead of us. We hope you have a great year and we’ll see you at the other end of it. PS: we think we’ve just had a trial run at reverse culture shock. We are in Panama!
