A journey through the Chilean fjords

We decided to take the ferry south from Puerto Montt to save some wear and tear on ourselves and our bikes. We had conservative expectations about the four day journey because it is so dependent on the weather. We were also advised to stock up on wine to help us forget how bad the food was. As it turns out, the journey was excellent, we met lots of great people and the food wasn’t so bad afterall. The highlights of the trip were seeing: the massive Tenpanos glacier up close from our boat; the beauty of the uninhabited fjords and the sea lions, dolphins and seabirds diving about our boat. The boat has brought us to Puerto Natales well-rested and ready to explore Torres del Paine National Park.
