Our boat also carried cargo, mainly soft drinks and beer, but also vehicles. At one port, our boat moored next to another tied to the wharf. This car had to drive through the moored boat in order to reach the wharf, but it was too high & couldn’t fit. The boat moved to widen the gap and the men jumped on the back to weigh it down so it could get through.
